Well, it's that time of year again when the leaves are fallen, and it is getting cold out there. And I don't know about you, there's nothing more fun than raking the leaves as it's snowing, but they're going to be picking up your leaves. Here is the schedule. October 30 is word five. November 1 is word three. November 3 is word six, you get the idea. I've got a whole schedule going all the way into Ward nine, which is December 6. So if you check your episode description, I will have a link to this schedule along with a link if you're like me going, wait, what word am I in? There is a new outlet store. This is a Lowe's outlet store actually, at The Chapel Hill Plaza. If you're like, wait, Chapel Hill doesn't exist. The Chapel Hill Plaza is basically the one with Ollie's and giant eagle and Dick's and all that. So what's interesting about this, it's only one of 14 outlet stores in the nation. And it's right here. And the outlet store includes warranty options with delivery and Holloway options available. And if you have a Lowe's credit card, you can use it there. However, they say those looking for a discounted appliance or other items must come to the store directly. online purchases are not available for the outlet store and items can't be ordered to the outlet. Those services must go through the regular Lowe's or regular retail stores. And according to the manager, there is new stuff every day. The address is 330 Howe Avenue in Cuyahoga Falls, happy shopping. Assumed Mayor which is always sounds kind of weird, but he's up against basically a shoe or something. Democratic key he won the Democratic Party, Seamus Malik is starting to build his cabinet. We haven't officially voted but it's kind of assumed again. So on posts on Facebook and Instagram, the transition team called for applicants for Director of Economic Development, Director of Human Resources, Director of Law, Director of Planning and a new position in the city structure director of sustainability and resiliency. The posts also invite people to send resumes, if they wish to be considered for other roles not specifically mentioned, those links are in the show notes. And we reported on this a while ago but the gorge dam removal project is up and going and they're having a meeting. Let's see Wednesday, October 25, from six to 7pm at the main Akron Summit County Public Library, which of course is on South High Street. And if you can't make it, they are going to stream it on YouTube. But if you're a person that wants to get some last pictures while the dam is still there, they're going to be talking about how to remove it because there it's not like they're gonna blow the dam and they're done. There's a bunch of soot and stuff at the bottom of the river that they have to drag out first, but it is they are moving forward. This was just announced Grammy Award winner singer songwriter, guitar player blues legend Bonnie Raitt will be coming to the Civic Theater next year.
