EMT Workers Burnout as 911 Calls Increase and It's Only Going to Get Worse

Akron outsourced their non-emergency ambulance calls, and that company appears to be in a position to extort the city. As it takes a year to bring on a new EMT worker, things could become very bad come August 2023 when AMR (the outsourced company) leaves.
