I don’t know about you, but when I turn on the news I cringe or cry. I do not hear to put on rose-colored glasses, but I also know there is actual NEWS that is happening right in my backyard and I never hear about. I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio and I can’t explain why but I love it. I love the people, the places, the history of a people who never give up. After moving away for a few years and living in Cleveland, I wanted to really get to know the place I call home.
